Mrs Mary Jane Milne (nee Veitch) joined the New Hebrides Mission of the Synod of Otago and Southland with her husband, Rev Peter Milne (Snr), in 1869. She returned to New Zealand to be with her children c. 1907 and died in Dunedin in 1908.

letters written by her from Nguna Island.
